Male Sovereignty part 3: Who We Are and What We do
written for Going Your Own Way forum
In the course of this article, we have come to a few
solid conclusions;
Everything that
women did, they did for themselves and it failed them all the way; that is why
we do not want to serve women’s desires and we do not want to be slaves to
women’s desires.
What we can do
and who we can be is to enjoy what we do and to share what we enjoy as well as
to be affected by good men and to affect good on other men through male
influence.
.
What we did is basically setting a basic framework for
today and for the future. Musashi compared the similarities between warriors
and artisans in that they thrive through events, “The carpenter uses a
master plan of the building, and the way of strategy is similar in that there
is a plan of campaign.” And now we can apply all the things that we have
learned to the individual person, you and address the question “what do I want
to do and who do I want to be.” We can basically sum up the answer in this;
Men are discoverers and explorers of our world and
spaces; this is who we are and what we do.
Discoverers and Explorers
Newton discovered gravity, Bach explored music
specifically the beauty and harmony of sound, Musashi discovered his Two-Sword
style swordsmanship and explored philosophy, Zheng He explored and discovered
new cultures and countries and medieval craftsmen like the stonemasons,
discovered and explored techniques of their craft to perfection. We are all
discoverers and explorers of our own male spaces whether if it is in our minds
or our environment.
We need not be a physicist, composer, warrior or
diplomat; there are numerous examples of men pursuing their passion and then
able to produce that has a global impact. One small example that I would like
highlight is the game Defence of the Ancients or most commonly known as DOTA.
Almost anyone who has ever played Warcraft 3 knows what
DOTA is but for those who do not, let me just give you a short historical tour.
DOTA is a multiplayer online battle arena mod which was developed from the
“World Editor” of Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne. The game is
designed by Eul, Steve “Guinsoo” Feak and IceFrog and for the longest time, it
was co-developed by the DOTA community – which consisted of men – who
contributed ideas and worked on the mechanics of the game. The whole plot of
the game is pretty simple; 2 teams consisting of up to 5 players each try to capture
the other team’s base.
What is truly amazing is that, DOTA was an underground
hit among Warcraft fans around the world and its popularity increased over
time. It gained recognition mass appeal, appearing in BlizzCon 2005, Asian
World Cyber Games 2005 and Electronic Sports World Cup 2008. Michael Walbridge
(2008) from Gamasutra wrote “DOTA is a delight to all who play it: it’s
surprisingly addictive and even pastiche, mixing the highs and lows of gaming
and gaming culture. DOTA’s quirks, governments, outlaws, and innovation
show us that it’s much easier to renovate for the masses when the masses are
involved.”
DOTA became the template of a game genre today known as Multiplayer
Online Battle Arena (MOBA) with its most identifiable example League of Legends
(LoL) - co-designed by Steve “Guinsoo” Feak - which is the most played video
game in North America and Europe in terms of hours played according to Forbes
(Gaudiosi 2012). League of Legends has 67 million people playing monthly with
27 people playing daily as of this January and raked in $624 million in revenue
in 2013 (Sherr 2014). It is amazing to think that more than a decade ago, DOTA
which was an underground hit from a Warcraft 3 Map Editor is now a global game
genre that is generating over 600 million dollars.
All because of guys name Eul, Guinsoo and IceFrog who
discovered and explored this game.
In contrast, the only contribution that we see women has
given the video gaming world is to repeatedly shame gamers and when that did
not work they invade the video game world and are currently trying to feminized
everything and everyone via Anita Sarkeesian. This illustrates well the
difference between the male influence and the female influence; the male
influence turned an idea into a worldwide phenomenon while the female influence
is to destroy a hard built gaming industry.
Men discover, explore, create and build; women take,
consume, dispose and destroy.
But I am digressing, what is important is to note that
men are discoverers, explorers, designers and builders. We do things and we
make things, even when it is from nothing. As long as we have passion in what
we do, we can achieve many great things. And the history of DOTA highlights the
great good that comes from male influence; surrounded by people who share the
same passion as you do and contributing to that idea will bring about the best
of everyone.
DOTA, LoL and MOBA became great because of men; we had an
idea, we pursued that idea, we shared our idea with likeminded men, and we had
fun designing, creating, building and sharing the result of that idea with
everyone. On the whole, this is just a small example of what we men can
accomplish together without the interference or influence of women.
What does this all mean to you, the individual? It means
that
·
Do not seek approval or of women because it will
only lead to your destruction.
·
The female influence is the exploitation you for
the benefit of women only and not yours.
·
We need to reject the female influence; whether
it is by proxy such as traditionalism or directly like feminism for it does not
serve men or humankind and will lead to society’s destruction such as that of
Rome and Sparta.
·
To be a man is not to conform blindly to
traditional or progressive values but to continually use critical and rational
thought such as Galileo and Newton.
·
To be a man is to be discoverers and explorers;
the pursuit of our passion and interest without the interference of women and
their influence.
·
We need to surround ourselves and spread our own
male influences to survive as a species as well as to protect ourselves from
female influences.
And so, I end by reiterating these words,
Everything
women did, their female influence only served them and it has always brought
ruin; that is why we do not want to serve women’s desires and we do not want to
be slaves to women’s desires.
What we can do
and who we can be is to enjoy what we do and to share what we enjoy as well as
to be affected by good men and to affect good on other men through male
influence.
Men don’t give a fuck about what
other people think as long as he enjoys what he is doing and strives to be the
best at what he does
